The torsional resilience allows the Compresi-Flex Coupling to absorb impacts and vibration. This lowers dynamic loads and improves life of the connected equipment. The torsional stiffness can be tuned to the drive line system by installing blocks of various elastomeric materials and grades.

The Compresi-Flex Coupling is also ideal for out-of-the-way drives, because no lubrication is required and the life of the elastomer is normally many years. It is also a fail-safe coupling that still transmits torque in the unlikely event of breakdown of the elastomeric blocks. In this case, the equipment can still be run until the next scheduled shutdown before blocks are replaced.
