Renold - Australian Distributors for SIME-Stromag, manufacturers of Disc Brakes for 40 years have announced the release of their new generation “Thruster Brakes”. The FAV Range of Thruster Brakes has a patented automatic wear compensation system (a feature common to the SIME-Stromag product) and also a new re-centring
system designed to reduce pad wear and maintain brake torque stability.

The FAV range is the latest addition to the already extensive list of electro-magnetic and hydraulic models of service and emergency brakes that are available through Renold Australia. Renold Australia in co-operation with SIME-Stromag offer package services, from the selection and supply of new brakes to servicing and repairing installed brakes. SIME-Stromag Disc Brakes are part of the extensive range of products for conveyors and elevators, including gear reducers, couplings and holdbacks, available from Renold Australia.
